In the Oxford dictionary, you can find the following definition of colour: “the property possessed by an object of producing different sensations on the eye as a result of the way the object reflects or emits light.”
I have an abstract idea of colour. It’s as simple as this: the ability to vibrate happiness as a result of positive energy, altruistic behaviour and good actions.
That’s why I chose this blog’s name. I want you to join me on this journey. You colour your life while I colour mine. I’ll share information that I consider relevant, and we can exchange thoughts about it.
We have so many ways to pursue quality of life. I’ll focus on food, environment and the human relations because everything is connected. I’ll also share what I’ve learned from readings about life.
Many of us insist on our bad and old habits even when what we do, say, think and feel are not in alignment. Changes are not always welcome. I resisted for years. But, then, I followed my heart.
As I didn’t want to live a life in black and white, I decided to experiment. I quit my job. I worked outside of journalism for the first time. I went back to school in my 30s. I moved abroad.
Not so fast. Not in this order.
Those changes have brought me to a new moment in life, and a series of coincidences (or not) have guided me to the deepest within me. I started running and eating vegan meals.
My learning never had an expiry date. But I know I’m finally able to look at what is instead of what isn’t. It feels good.
